Bio: My name is Joshua, and you can probably read more about me on my blog's profile. Refer to the info below for more of my interests. To the right is this site's history. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions, as well.
August 20th, 2003 marks the beginning of this website. I started it as a site for reviewing the latest Nintendo video games, mainly for Gamecube and Game Boy Advance. Throughout the years I had decided I wanted to do some things a little different than just this topic. So, I found a niche-a topic of interest that had no major fan website. That was for the anime series IGPX, that ran on Cartoon Network mainly in 2006. That website took off and became the only major fan site for the show. It is still available today.
As 2007 began, I decided that I no longer wanted to continue with reviews for Nintendo games. Despite my continuing support for Nintendo (stood in line for the Wii overnight on its first day of sale), I had grown out of writing reviews. Having the site strictly for Nintendo limited me as a person with what I really wanted to accomplish with this website. I didn't want to close the site, however. I simply wanted to broaden it. So after some deliberation, I decided to start a blog.
In September 2008, I took another step in keeping my site alive and thriving by creating and integrating these few pages to connect my 'older' stuff with what I am currently doing. I hope to keep these pages up as a main access point for all of my other work.
TheIGPX.com was founded in 2013 to solidify an easy-to-access URL for the biggest IGPX fan site in the world. The site received two interviews-one from a producer of the show and another from a producer of the 2016 DVD box set. The site remains a one-stop place for fans to get info on everything regarding the series.
